Aurella Yussuf is a writer and art historian, focusing on the work of Black artists in Britain and beyond. Her writing has appeared in Frieze, Hyperallergic, Artskop and other art publications. She has worked with organisations including Tate, Whitechapel Gallery, Photoworks, Hauser & Wirth, Glasgow School of Art, and more.

Aurella is a founding member of interdisciplinary art collective Thick/er Black Lines and the convener of Kitchen Table Crit, a monthly peer forum for Black artists, critics and curators.
